Starz Equestrian Center is Metro Detroit's Premier Therapeutic Riding Center providing equine-assisted activities to individuals with special needs and bringing the therapeutic power of horses to meet the needs of the community regardless of ability.
Therapeutic Riding
Therapeutic riding enhances the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with disabilities through lessons teaching horseback riding and general horsemanship skills.
Equine Facilitated Learning
Conducted in small groups, participants get to engage in activities with horses that teach character development and reinforce life skills.
Tailored Experiences
Customized experiences for anyone who wants to interact with our horses, whether it be building leadership skills by earning a girl/boy scout badge, to families of deployed members of the military who want to enjoy a fun family experience together.
